Will it work, or will it backfire, as Republicans are hoping...?

Will it cement Obama as the 'people's choice', or will he still be seen as a creation of an over-active media...?

Summer Colds...

really SUCK!

To start, unlike during Winter when you want to get warm, in the Summer, it's too hot to 'bundle up'...

Then, while you have the fever, you sweat like a PIG... stinking up the house...

Finally, no appetite... and again, unlike Winter, soup is the LAST thing on your mind...

Quick tangent,  while watching the Fox 11 10 o'clock news last night, I thought about John Beard...

They fired him last December and replaced him with Carlos Amezcua... and boy, DOES HE SUCK... personality like cardboard, and always makes mistakes...

Getting Old...

I'm relatively young... but boy, do I feel old today...

My only child starts his Senior year of High School tomorrow...

When I look back 29 years when I started my Senior year.. man, have things changed...

One thing for sure, gas was a lot cheaper... and I didn't even have my own car, prying my Mom's whenever I could get a chance... 

There wasn't a Starbucks at every other intersection...

And In-and-Out, there was only one close to us in Torrance... off the 22 in Garden Grove...

No ESPN, or sports-talk for the matter... and the Rams were still in L.A.

My beloved Kings were still at the Forum, and in purple and gold...

Oh well, time moves on... and I'm still waiting to touch Lord Stanley's Cup...

Blogging...

Should get better like fine wine... as I'm new to this, I have no idea where it will take me... maybe cathartic (although per the dictionary, 'from the bowels'... YIKES!)... therapy of sorts... we'll see...

Ever notice how people take things for granted...?  How people do whatever they want, without any care on how it affects other people...?  The guy who parks in front of the grocery store, making people walk around him with their carts, because he's too lazy to park in a marked stall...? That's what is wrong these days... too many people that are too selfish... as though we're living in their world...
