My only child starts his Senior year of High School tomorrow...
When I look back 29 years when I started my Senior year.. man, have things changed...
One thing for sure, gas was a lot cheaper... and I didn't even have my own car, prying my Mom's whenever I could get a chance...
There wasn't a Starbucks at every other intersection...
And In-and-Out, there was only one close to us in Torrance... off the 22 in Garden Grove...
No ESPN, or sports-talk for the matter... and the Rams were still in L.A.
My beloved Kings were still at the Forum, and in purple and gold...
Oh well, time moves on... and I'm still waiting to touch Lord Stanley's Cup...
